1. There was an action "Delete unused images" and in some other remote product there were these pictures
2. When transferring the box, media was not transferred or partially transferred to the new server
3. Someone came in and mowed down some of the folders from media on the server
4. Crash of the system, in which all the pictures of the goods were deleted (very unlikely)
Most likely in your case was point 1

The photos were uploaded from the local PC folder, that is, not through the image paths that could theoretically be repeated in another product.
Please provide a solution to prevent removal of images from existing products.
