Good afternoon, perhaps you are not looking at the original photo that is stored in onebox, but at one of the light versions. Try to upload the products in xls, select the name of the product and the photo to upload there, and follow the link in the photo column. If it is still of the same quality, we will see what's wrong and what setting to enable so as not to compress the photos.

Tried it, the quality of the photos did not improve.
The photo in the link is also very concise

Um. As far as I remember, we store the originals as they are and do not compress them in any way.
But when a user looks at the site of an online store, or somewhere in OneBox, depending on the situation, we make a small copy and show it. But we always keep the original.
By the way, this is often a problem, because users complain that we eat a lot of space))

The problem is that when we upload photos to the site or marketplaces, they are very compressed.
And all the efforts on the photo shoot and photo rendering are in vain.
And for customers, the ability to view details in the photo disappears.
How to deal with it?

Well, then the question is different: why do photos lose quality when transferred to the site / marketplaces.
Because there is not the original, but a reduced picture.
Alas, I don’t remember why this is so, but it seems that the box settings have a parameter responsible for compressing images.

Yes, but there they work to compress the image.
If the photo is larger than the specified size, it will be resized (compressed to the specified size).
Also tried to fix with these parameters, but it didn't give any result....

I don't remember exactly how it works, because I made this setting about 8 years ago :)
But it seems to be used only once. And if you change it now, then only new photos will be compressed with this quality setting.
Therefore, it is best to set the maximum value there, and then forcibly delete all thumb-files.
In general, in order not to load you too much, it is better to refer to https://1b.app/ru/partner/oneboxproduction/
and in a conditional 1-4 hours they will solve this issue.

Good afternoon. Change settings https://karelles.1b.app/app/settings/product/
1. "Format for saving images (including thumbnail files)" - leave only jpg or png here. Only one image format is supported. It is advisable to indicate the format, the images of which you have the most for products. All photos of other formats will be converted to the specified
2. Set the "Maximum width (in pixels) of featured photos for a product" setting to the maximum number of pixels for your photo.
3. Set the "Max height (in pixels) of featured photos for a product" setting to the maximum number of pixels for your photo.
Settings 2 and 3 work like this: if the uploaded photo is larger in width or height than specified in the settings, the photo will be compressed to the size values specified in the settings (if the setting is not specified, the default value is 1200).
After changing the settings, delete the old photo and upload a new one.
