noticed the following situation in the system: When creating a category, the system automatically fills the External ID field with the value of the system ID https://i.imgur.com/8EvoNHz.png
When you try to clear the field, this value is returned after some time (monitored, the field is filled again after working out the hourly crown). This situation becomes problematic due to the fact that we transfer data to opencards, and such filling of External ID duplicates the values of External ID, and the system cannot create/bind categories to Opencards.
Can you help determine what is the reason for such system operation, and how to eliminate this situation? Boxing https://invafishki.1b.app/

Is it purely by chance that such categories do not appear on opencart? The action to export products can pass them there with the same id and write them to the external id of the category

There was already a category with such an ID on opencart, and at the time of this question, the category did not appear on opencart (more precisely, the data of the category that had such an ID on Opencart did not change (name, description)), but the product in which the newly created category was assigned in the box, the opencard set a category with an already existing opencard ID. In subsequent imports, the category with the duplicate ID was hidden, and the data from the box overwrote the data on the open card. That is, if the action of exporting goods to Opencart does this, can it be changed in some way? When creating new categories, do I need to manually set a specific external ID to avoid duplicates?

Do you need to transfer this category to opencart or not? Now it is being transferred, it finds it by id and updates it and throws the necessary products into it, if any. You can immediately write the id on the opencart to the external id, then the id will not be written there. You can also select the necessary categories in the list for unloading, in which case only they will be unloaded

So the newly created categories need to be uploaded to openkart. That is, in order for the categories to be transferred correctly, before creating a category in the box, you need to check the last occupied ID in the categories on the open card, and fill in the field External ID of the product category in the box with the following number when adding a category to the box?

Yes, or enable the checkbox "Create new products and categories in opencart, instead of searching by id in the box" in the settings of the upload action. Then we will not search by id
