Hello!
As part of our work, we need to constantly create tasks for employees and print documents (work orders). There are many tasks, often they are on different projects and at different times. Falling into each specific task for printing a document is inconvenient.
We tried to automate by mass changes - first we transfer the necessary processes to the stage of creating a document, then we select mass printing. It got a little easier, but it still took a long time.
We decided to use the "Download document" action, in the hope that it would be possible to implement the process according to the following scheme:
1. Transferred mass processes to the stage of issuing a document;
2. Then automatically (instantly or after the expiration of the stage) these processes go to the stage of downloading the document;
3. Documents are downloaded to a specific folder on the user's computer and mass-printed using a third-party application.
But here we encountered such a problem: the &qu

this does not work, because you do not switch the task from the browser, but the server does it on its own. In order for documents to be downloaded, you need to go to the stage from the browser by the user. In order for this to work, you need to put the document download action right after it is generated, so the user who clicks the button will be able to receive the document download.
Good afternoon.

We understand that this is exactly what is happening now. Our question is, does the system have functionality that will allow you to download documents without falling into the task? Perhaps there are some actions in automation (once per minute / hour / day) that we have not noticed?

No, only the option of uploading documents via ftp to some other server is possible. In any other case, the browser cannot save anything to the user's computer without his actions.
