Price recalculation for out-of-stock items

Good afternoon!
When recalculating prices, the checkbox for the item "Recalculate prices for goods that are out of stock" is not set:
https://prnt.sc/uy8hux
However, when recalculating prices and availability, the purchase price for out-of-stock items is reset to "0".
Why is this happening?

Good day, Elena.
Please give a link to an example of a product whose purchase price has been reset when recalculating prices.

i have a similar problem. I had to re-enable the price recalculation action, but because of it, it resets the sale price of the goods. I unchecked it a couple of weeks ago.

Obviously free support scored on this issue)))
Here is what they told me in paid support:
"This setting affects what data from the tab the suppliers of the product will be selected, and whether the product is included in the recalculation. If the product is not available from the supplier, then without a checkbox, when recalculating, the price will be reset to 0, and if the checkbox is checked, then it will be recalculated at the price supplier, even if it is not available.
In general, if you want the prices not to be reset to "0" - upload the supplier's price and enable this checkbox - then the supplier's price will be set for the product that is not in stock when recalculated.

If you do not have markup rules, but just the price, then you can do this https://prnt.sc/v4kq9p
