Why does the system, when copying a product, copy the creation date and ignore (overwrite) the creation action

It turns out that there are the following features of the system:
1. When copying a product, the system copies the data from the "Creation date" (cdate) field of the old product and inserts this data into the new product, somehow it is a little unclear, this is essentially a new product and there should be a new creation date, why does the system copy is this field
2. The system has a section "Actions when creating a product card" and, in fact, when copying a product, the system overwrites the data recorded by the actions in this section, that is, it is specified that certain information was recorded when the product was created, but copying overwrites this data, what is the logic?

Answers:

1. Because everything is copied except for the product id
2. Probably because you are copying the product and want to copy all the data and not overwrite them.

"Creation date" (cdate) is essentially something similar to the id of the product, somehow it is not logical to overwrite this date, are there any options to not change the "Creation date" (cdate) when copying?

Copying by default copies everything, and actions only later change this data if necessary, copying is essentially the creation of a card, and "Actions when creating a product card" seem to fit this concept, i.e. a new product has been created and, in essence, the action must record does it have data, or does the system have a different logic?
3. By which product field can you understand that this is a copy and not a new (clean product) and which action and condition can be used in "Actions when saving the product card" so that you can, for example, then perform some action during editing of the type "Calculate the value according to the formula and write in the specified field" and use it to configure the system to clear fields that do not need to be copied?
4. Are there any actions in the system that can fill (change) the product field "Creation date" (cdate)?

All fields are copied except for the id, product link and code1s or articles if the uniqueness checkbox is checked.
1. Make the creation date set as the current 1h in the form of a setting
2. Make sure that after copying all the fields, the automation action for creating a product is launched - 1 hour. Also in the form of a setting.
3. We can make a setting so that when copying a product, an additional field is filled in with the desired value. After that, you will be able to launch automation actions based on the condition of the completed additional field and then overwrite the additional field. It will also take 1 hour.
If you do all 3 points, then you can invest in 2 hours, this is if you need to do all 3. Issue an invoice?

All fields are copied except id, product reference and code1s or article numbers, if the uniqueness check is on.
1. Make the date of creation be set as the current 1h as a setting
2. Make sure that after copying all the fields, the action of automating the creation of the product is launched - 1h. Also in the form of a setting.
3. We can make settings so that when copying the product, it is filled with an additional necessary value. After that, you will be able to run automation actions under conditions of a filled dopfield and then erase the dopfield. It will also take 1 hour.

Thank you, the problem was solved with the help of the "External ID" field, we set a condition in the actions when saving, if it is empty, then it is a new product (a separate field) within the framework of which we will already work with other fields (we will fill in something and clear something).
Another action will populate the "External ID" field so that it is not empty.
We will not rely on the "Creation date" (cdate) field, we will create an additional field

Another interesting point is that it does not copy the category of the product, which is quite strange, it copies the date of creation, but not the category
