The "remove from observers" button is not so easy to hit, and you can't see it there, especially if the avatars are colored.
At the same time, it is better to leave the avatar clickable, but so that you can open the contact card by clicking.
And add "Remove from observers" to the hint. (or add a right-click, where "remove from observers" appears).
What do you think?
