Integration with opencart is connected, we load products from there into CPM.
We recently updated the pictures in opencart and they loaded into the box. And we noticed that there was not enough space on the server.
For example, there was a product with a picture, then a new picture was loaded from opencart. The old one is removed completely from the server or remains? If so, please tell me how to clean them.

When you change the picture, the old one is not physically removed from the server, as far as I remember. In OneBox OS, we are changing the logic of working with files and you will be able to delete unnecessary pictures and files yourself

Need some solution, there is an action once a day Delete unused images But I'm not sure if it works as we need Perhaps we will go from the opposite, we will make sure that the pictures are deleted from the server by this action. There is no product with a link to the image - delete or something like that

there is a variant. You can delete media/shop/ and records on photos in the database and re-upload it all from the guardian. If we do it, it will take an hour

We don’t know what’s in the media, what else will be deleted besides product photos, explain what it will affect

And you need to understand the problem with the fact that the place ends, is it because of the images or not. Can you tell me how much the pictures / media weigh?

media/ has a lot of stuff. In media/shop/ (in folders inside) nothing but product photos. All folders with contents (I specify, folders and not the entire directory with files. They have names of 2 letters / numbers there) can be deleted.

As far as I know, you / the client should have access to your server, check.

Ok, I think we’ll do it one-time, but still the pictures will constantly change and we need a system solution as I wrote above It is possible to just finish the action in the crm, which for some reason does not work: "deleting pictures" which should work anyway Make sure that the pictures are deleted from the server by this action. And let's close the question. There is no product with a link to the image - delete or something like that. Can this be improved or what is the best way to do it?

They used to do something similar, but the server was very bad due to the fact that we scanned the entire hard drive. We can do something similar on os, right now I'm rewriting the way photos are stored there

Well, let's scan not all, but only those folders where the images are stored, they have a powerful server, and maybe it will pull. If the load is large, you can somehow break it into parts to reduce the instantaneous load. In any case, they need a solution, they are unlikely to be updated on OS in the next year.

delete the folders from media/shop/ for now and don't bother. In mvp, writing such things so that later in half a year they become irrelevant does not make any sense

I understand that I don’t want to do it in this version, but the client says what is needed, can you still evaluate it?
