Export has been around for a long time, this is a purely informative table, I suspect that there is an export because the functionality is used the same as, for example, for processes and it contains a module for export.
But the import was finalized recently and it will most likely only be in the new version, since it was made for internal use, but not transferred to the general version :(
It seems like these changes should be transferred with some periodicity, but so far they have not. Why, I won't say.
