The goal:
[file]23608[/file]
Change the date in an additional process field with the Date and Time type to the number of days recorded in another additional field.
[file]23608[/file]
Example of what you need to get:
[file]23608[/file]
- in the Schedule date field, the selected date is displayed
[file]23608[/file]
- in the Verification Frequency field, the number 360 or 175 is written
[file]23608[/file]
- we need to overwrite the date value in the field: Plan date as: Selected date + 360 (or 175)
[file]23608[/file]
Found this action:
[file]23608[/file]
Shift the process/client date depending on the value of the additional field
[file]23608[/file]
Please explain, with an example, how this action works.
[file]23608[/file]
Can it help you get the desired result?

Good evening! If you really need to write the effective date to an additional process field, I recommend using the Write date value to an additional process field based on the process date offset action. It should implement the task you specified without any problems, the number of days can be set both in the action and from the additional process field https://i.imgur.com/h9FwXx7.png .

We take the date from the settings for comparison. Then we compare for each condition - and if the condition is met - we take the number of days to shift. Next, we take the date from the field for recording (or the current one if the field is empty) and make an offset for the specified period according to the condition above.

Thank you very much. It seems like a more convenient action. Therefore + from me personally

I paraphrase according to how I understood and adjusted it to my needs.
Select the Additional field for comparison action in the settings.
We will have this field: Check frequency in days.bp
and if it is equal to 360 or 175,
then change the value in the field that we select in the settings to 360 or 175 days, respectively: Additional field for recording the result.
We will have this field with the date type: Date to plan.bp
The settings should be as shown on the screen.
True?

Hello! Regarding your question, the action "Shift process/client date depending on the value of an additional field" should work if you correctly configure the conditions for its execution. If the "Verification frequency" field contains a number, for example, 360 or 175, then using this action you can add this number of days to the selected date in the "Plan date" field. This allows you to automatically calculate a new date, depending on the value in another field. For correct operation, you need to make sure that the formula or algorithm takes into account these values, and not just standard actions. If you have any questions about the configuration or need detailed instructions, you can try to additionally test this process in your system to see how the date shift mechanism works.
