Every night at 02:40 CPM hangs and gives a 502 error, for a long time

1) Database backup starts at 2:40 and lasts approximately 6-8 minutes
This can be seen in the crond settings, user root.
2) Because tables are locked to perform backup.

OK, it turns out that tables are blocked during backup and gives a 502 error, as I understand it, it is impossible to avoid this in order to make a backup? Or there are some ways how you can configure to make backups, but 502 did not give an error
