Dear Tatyana,
In order to avoid misunderstandings, I want to clarify the situation, and perhaps this will help you make the right decision.
There are two types of OneBox installation - in the cloud with us OR a box on your server.
- If you choose the cloud, then you pay us the rent, and we are responsible so that nothing disappears. We make backups, deploy them on demand, and so on.
- If you choose a box, then you buy the server yourself and maintain it. We installed OneBox there as is, and our responsibility ended there. Here it is described in detail about the box -
https://1b.app/ru/prices/#korobochnye-resheniya-on-site-ustanovka-na-svoy-serverYou have a boxed version of OneBox installed on your server.
OneBox has no access to the server, we do not store them.
We also do not backup client servers.
Posting on the forum "please set up backups" - you get a response not from OneBox, but from a bunch of other companies that service boxes. These are our partners. And they can set up backup copies for you and put them somewhere. But, this is NOT done by OneBox, but by a third-party company.

In principle, I understand your concern: there is software that you once bought, where it is installed, it is not entirely clear which server is cloud or boxed too. And I just want to be safe from risks. To resolve this issue, there are options:
1. Contact partners
https://1b.app/ru/partner/search/ and ask them to set up a backup. (There is a button Leave a request to everyone)
Where copies will be stored - it is already with a specific partner that you need to decide who will pay for them, and so on.
But this is your B2B arrangement between your firm and the partner firm. OneBox is not involved in any way here.
This option does not eliminate the risk that your server may disappear, that it needs to be serviced, and so on.
2. You can write about the need for backup on the forum. This is exactly the same as point 1, just a different channel of communication.
Partners will offer an option, as, for example, Sergey Tasun from OneBox Production has already done.
3. Switch to cloud OneBox.
In this case, OneBox is responsible for storing and processing your data, it is OneBox that is soaring about this (and not a third-party partner).
You do not need to think about paying for the server, where it is and how, how to make backups.
To switch to the cloud - select a partner
https://1b.app/ru/partner/search/ and tell him that you want to switch.
I hope I helped answer the question.
