Is access to deletion somehow configured (so that an employee cannot delete all events by clicking a couple of checkboxes)? Or if there is access to view then this automatically gives the right to manage these events?

Unfortunately, when implementing the initial revision, there were no requirements to restrict this functionality by access rights. Actually, if you have rights to view events, you can edit them.
I can offer to finalize the access rights for editing (for mass changes only) and set it to everyone who has access to view - such a refinement will take 1 hour.
