New password encryption and access control system

Dear OneBox Users and Partners! We are pleased to inform you that in December 2024, we transitioned to a new password encryption and access control system to make OneBox even more secure. Data and access security has always been one of our top priorities. Notification for OneBox OS Users What you need to do: - Change your password by January 15, 2025, if you use a login and password combination to log in. - If you log in via OneBox ID (SMS-based login), no action is required. After changing your password, your account will automatically switch to the new encryption system. Starting January 15, 2025, the old encryption system will be disabled. If the password is not changed, access to the box will only be possible via OneBox ID or by setting up a new login and password. Notification for OneBox MVP and Earlier Version Users We recommend that all users of OneBox MVP and earlier versions change their passwords, as these versions are no longer supported. Here’s what happened: - The user employed a simple password like "123456" or "name123". - The same password was used for email, OneBox, and other services. - The password data leaked from another site and became accessible to malicious actors. - The attackers gained access to OneBox without brute-forcing the password because it was the same across all services.
