It will be exactly the same as now - but only those operations where there is a filtered product are filtered. And nothing else.

You are asking for a filter to be added to the transaction log - you have been appreciated adding a filter to the transaction log.
The appearance of the log remains the same, only operations where the filtered product participates will be filtered.
