Unable to add company to contact

In the contact card there is a column "Company name". If you enter the name of the company there, nothing happens, the company is not searched for and does not create. Previously, you could write the name of the company and select from the list or create. Now just create a client, then create a company, then go to the company card and enter this client in the "employees" column. This is extremely inconvenient. Can you do it like before?
