We have a number of groups where there are default discounts.

We want to create a separate category of products where the discount will be by default (let's say 35%)

Answers:
Creating a category of products - I think it will not be difficult. You can move goods there and set a discount through the bulk operations panel in products.
Also in the system settings there is a setting "Prohibit applying bonuses and discounts in addition to the one indicated in the product card" - it will probably suit you.
