1) check whether autoformatting of phone numbers is configured correctly, you can specify at least three options when it is worth changing, for example:
2) indeed, with a mass change of goods, such automation does not work, but everything is ok when exporting-importing contacts: export at least ID+Phone and import with the indication of ID+columns with phone like this:
Be sure to check the report file in the mail after the update, it should be Updated: 1xx (the number of updated contacts)
