For some time now, we have been observing the lack of one feature with the team: the ability to display the contact field user.(custom)_ for user taken from an additional field.
That is, the question is whether it is technically possible to add settings to the universal block of the interface for the contact field, with a display as on scr: thanks to which users and partners will be able to specify a contact in the settings from an additional field specified in the process, and this field will be displayed instead of the process client field.
We know about the possibility of copying fields from a contact and vice versa, here the question is whether they would be synchronized as user.(custom)_ , that is, when you enter a process in a contact or vice versa - it is displayed everywhere.
If possible, please provide an estimate for a possible investment in the product.
I am interested in deploying such a feature on all boxes of the OS version.

Good afternoon, It is not entirely clear why to do this at all? What prevents you from displaying the contact field directly in the process and editing it?
