It would be great to leave the dropdown menu when hovering over apps on the desktop in Sort Mode only.

This menu is not used 99.9% of the time in the system. Setting is required at the very beginning and sometimes in the process of working in the system, but definitely not every day, and several times a day, so that the menu is drop-down on hover on an ongoing basis.

This is very disturbing. It is not possible to swipe from above to any application below the first row and launch the application without moving the cursor to the side so that the menu disappears. And yes, it's just annoying.

Also, the menu sometimes opens up, overlapping the icon, and you have to move the cursor down to the title.

A great option is to leave this menu only in sort mode, which is actually the desktop customization mode.

Actually yes and no. We will soon have a slightly new desktop, with more options for customization and menus. And then we can take into account your wishes.
