1. I see they have added the ability to create additional desktops. But when I select + from the new table, it switches to 1b.app instead of selecting already existing apps.

This is the button to install new applications, which is why it redirects to the site)
In order to move the application to the desired desktop, you need to select the specific desktop in the drop-down menu of the application. send it to the table
