Janina - the system does not automatically open contacts. for this functionality Search for duplicate contacts /admin/shop/usersmerge/ https://prnt.sc/w1njmk
It is also available to manually merge contacts at the Vidality tab https://prnt.sc/w1njyp , choose how to merge https://prnt.sc/w1nkke and Press Merge.
Please check that not all fields are still being transferred from the contact to the new one and key fields copy only, for example, the ViberID code. How to record, є video: https://youtu.be/Z6sSaWRukKU
