The domain name belongs to Box. How to properly install a security certificate? Who should do this if the domain belongs to Boxing?

The certificate on this domain (on this server) never stood.
The client bought the system 3 years ago.
Generally does not influence installation of the certificate in any way.

Installing a certificate on the server is a server setting and has nothing to do with the OneBox product. If the client provides a certificate, we can install 1 hour. Installing a certificate from Let's Encrypt's for 3 months, 1 hour. If the client wants to buy a certificate for a domain that belongs to our campaign, then when verifying the ownership of the certificate, must select verification via HTTP (HTTPS) with files hosted on the server. The client can buy his own domain, buy a certificate for his domain, and install this certificate on his server.

How should the client correctly register the CNAME to which he should refer to for access to Box, if he decides to go to his domain, where there is a certificate?

I really don't understand what the question is about. If the client wants to change the domain name of the box - 1 hour.
