In the second screenshot, only comments are selected. This is where those comments/messages are displayed that are not included (and only they) in the general list.
(+ comments in the "Comments" display for some reason are not sorted by the latest ones, and as you can see, if you switch to the second page, the buttons for quickly switching the display disappear)
