Do you need existing price tags to get? Or generate and receive?
And in what form - the layout of your template or a direct link to the product barcode image?

Horizontally or vertically, but not the entire size of the printer? Perhaps all the same, positioning in the template can achieve some result

In general, I can programmatically rotate the image for you by 90 *
As an example - https://mariemur.crm-onebox.com/media/productbarcode/product27929external_rotate...
Try this image through "Source" in the document editor, paste the price tag and try printing.
If it suits you (that you will only have to adjust the layout styles of the template to fit the print size) - then I can make a variable {barcodeimageexternal_rotate90} that will make a rotated barcode image
