Even if you now specify the correct settings, most likely the error will be issued again - Too many login failures
Recommended:
1. check that the connection parameters are correct
2. then stop mail integration for 1-2 hours and turn it back on
3. if it does not help, then contact your system administrator to tell him what is wrong with the connection on your side and why you are "banned".

This worked for gmail:
Yes, you need to enable 2-Step Authentication and there is an option to create an application password.
Thus, you can leave all the security settings, and in the integration you will need to specify the application code instead of the password.
And everything will work)
