You can’t just do such functionality on these buttons - there are direct links to New Mail.
Even if this is done as a background request to update the process, it will take about 7 hours and it is unlikely that the technical director will give permission to develop for release (as for me, this is useless functionality).

Actually, I received an answer that we will not do this functionality in OneBox - it has no value as such.
