Fill in the process or contact field

Good afternoon!
There is an action "Fill in the field of the process or contact", in which there is a checkbox "Clear the selected field", since this field was filled with other information in the previous step. Now this field needs to be cleared in order to fill in the new information, but the checkbox does not work.
What could be the problem?

Is there an example of a test process where you can perform a transition (or move the actions to a procedure) to check what does not work?
Because at first glance it shouldn't be a problem.

You need to transfer it to the "Waiting List" process. Logically, if the checkbox works, then the "Comment" field should be cleared

Perhaps there is another action that can clear an already filled process field?

See screenshot:
1. The second action makes the stage switch where the field value is removed
2. The follow-up action still executes and writes the value to the field
If you turn it off or move it before switching the stage, there will be a void in the field
