Connect your mail (email)

By connecting the integration with Email, you have the opportunity to communicate with customers through the exchange of letters. In order to connect the integration with email, you need to do the following:

Open the Mail app:

Select "Configure mailbox connections":

Add a new connection:

Select mail service:

Fill in the displayed mail settings:

IMAP and SMTP settings may differ depending on the mail server. That is, each mail server has its own IMAP Host, IMAP Port, SMTP Host, SMTP Port.

Check the "Active" checkbox.

If you want to configure integration with gmail, then the settings are performed as follows:

Fill in the integration settings:

Open your mail settings and enable IMAP:

Go to google account and disable 2-Step Verification if enabled.

Allow access to unsafe apps:

Go through the Captcha following the link and click "Continue"..

After the integration with email is connected, the letters received by mail will be imported into OneBox OS, into the “Events” application:

If the letter came from a contact that is not in your database, a new contact card will be created.

You can view the correspondence with the contact, for this you need:

Open the contact card:

Transfer this contact to the "Events" application:

All events for this contact will be displayed, including email correspondence:
